June 13 -- 7:00p – Welcoming Reception & Refreshments Readings by our local host poets Michael Hathaway, Robert Joy, George Martin Dancing & jiving to live music

June 14 -- 10:00 a.m. – Open readings, impromptu performances & workshops will alternate 12:00 p.m. – Lunch on your own 6:00 p.m. – Dinner (donations encouraged) 7:30 p.m. – Presentation by Denise Low, Featured Poet

June 15 -- 10:00 a.m. – Discussion “What is the job of the poet and the art of metaphor?” Moderated by George Martin 11:00 a.m. – Open readings and performances “We will end when everyone is finished reading and listening and enjoying.”

June 17 -- 7 pm Denise Low and Maryfrances Wagoner poetry reading Johnson Co. Library, sponsored by The Writers Place
