The Kansas Poets
“Shoptalk” Series including Kansas Poet Laureate, Jonathan Holden, show host Jerry Reeck and program coordinator Greg German, wish to offer a very sincere THANK YOU
to everyone who supported and attended the series at all locations across Kansas during 2006-2007.
Appreciation is
also extended to Kansas Regents Center coordinator, Sue White and her Kansas State University Telenet-2 staff who made possible the broadcast of the SHOPTALK series across the state.
Gratitude is also extended to Jim Mock, ECC Station Manager, Kansas State University, and his staff for helping to produce our final program, parts of which will air on KST8 - Cox Cable
Channel 8, Manhattan, KS and surrounding region. And, for their help creating the educational DVD of the last program.

Created to
provide an opportunity for open discussion and education related to Kansas poets and their poetry, the Kansas Poets “Shoptalk” Series
invited everyone to become involved. Teachers and students at both the high school and college levels were especially encouraged to participate. Offered
FREE to the public at 23 sites
across the state via video conference TELENET 2, the series provided many of Kansas’ signature poets as guests, insight to improving writing and teaching poetry while providing opportunity for question and answer feedback. |

the appreciation of poetry in Kansas by making the Poet Laureate available to a wider audience throughout the state. |
