The Ad Astra (To the Stars) Poetry Project was part of Denise Low's commitment as Kansas' 2nd Poet Laureate, 2007-2009 and continuing after her tenure. This project, a column feature, provides a Kansas poet's brief bio, sample of writing and Dr. Low's commentary. She extends many thanks to Jonathan Holden, Kansas' 1st Poet Laureate, who set the standard for this program.
